December 2024 Christmas
As always December flew past in the blink of an eye and included copious amounts of glitter, sparkles, Christmas songs, stories and lots of fun activities that support the children to learn about the Nativity story and how different families celebrate the season.
We love welcoming parents into the setting and December offered us lots of opportunities, from our Christmas craft open morning to our very own Playgroup Nativity and also a lovely party celebration to round of the term for all.
We also had fun with our ever popular advent calendar featuring all of the children, the eager anticipation to see who was hiding behind each bauble was lovely to see.
The children also enjoyed our story advent where we shared a different Christmas themed story each day right up to Christmas Eve. The staff pre recorded videos for the days that Playgroup wasn’t open during weekends and the holidays so everyone could still enjoy listening to these festive stories.
